KDS To Provide Eleven New Online Graduate Credit Courses For Educators Through Lake Erie College
NEW YORK, October 29, 2007 — Knowledge Delivery Systems (KDS), an innovative provider of online professional development courses for K-12 educators, announced today that they will offer eleven new graduate courses through Lake Erie College.
Each course earns teachers 1 graduate credit from Lake Erie College, accredited by the Higher Learning Commission of the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools. Lake Erie College is an independent, liberal arts college with a rigorous curriculum that emphasizes academic inquiry, critical and creative thinking, and recognition of diverse views.
The new graduate courses are:

- English Language Learners: Strategies for Elementary Teachers
- Improving Literacy in Secondary Schools, Part 1

- Interactive Learning for English Language Learners
- Mentoring to Improve Student Learning
- Aiding Students with Learning Disabilities
- Inclusive Teaching for Students with Learning Disabilities
- Legal Issues in Education: A Free and Appropriate Education
Each graduate course will cost $200 which includes materials and application fees to Lake Erie College. Courses are available year-round.
