This course presents a dynamic look at teaching English Language Learners across the curriculum to ensure their success. You will learn to increase the effectiveness of instructional delivery and create a culturally responsive classroom. In addition to engaging lectures from Elizabeth Jiménez, a national expert in the field of English Language Learner instruction, incorporated into the course are classroom visits that illustrate the principals presented in the course, discussion panels with teachers and middle school students plus an interview with an actual student on his experience as an English Language Learner student.
