Online Master of Education (MAED) with an Emphasis in Differentiated Instruction

Program of Study
(Total number of credits 36)
The online Master of Education (MAED) with an Emphasis in Differentiated Instruction provides K-12 teachers a graduate program that focuses on innovative approaches to meeting the instructional needs of diverse learners.  Graduate students in Differentiated Instruction must take a minimum of 15 credits from the General Core Courses and 21 credits from Specific Pedagogical Courses for a total of 36 semester hours of graduate coursework. 

This online Master of Education (MAED) program will focus on presenting research-based, innovative strategies and techniques that will best address the needs of a diverse student population. In addition, this degree program will address issues such as cultural factors influencing schools and classrooms, effective management of learning environments, innovative approaches to assessment, and collaboration with parents, educators, English Language Learners and community members.

 All of Touro’s classes maintain a high level of rigor embedded in the exciting curriculum and assignments.  The course work was developed to enable individual students to learn information, a new technique or procedure method and be able to implement it in their classroom immediately.

Students will be assigned a counselor once they register to help them through the process.
