What does KDS offer for North Carolina teacher professional development?

We offer courses that each earn one Continuing Education Unit (CEU) that can apply toward the fifteen CEU (150 contact hours) state license renewal requirement.

KDS is in partnership with North Carolina Association of Educators (NCAE) to provide quality online professional development to support state license renewal (with prior district approval).

What is the approval status of the courses?

Ask your district for prior approval to use courses for state license renewal requirements, in-service credits or salary advancement
