KDS Offers Online Professional Development Course to LAUSD Teachers
Online Leadership Course Approved By LAUSD For Point Credits
NEW YORK, April 16, 2007 — Knowledge Delivery Systems (KDS), an innovative provider of online professional development courses for K-12 educators, announced today that LAUSD has approved KDS to offer an online professional development course to its teachers. The online course will qualify LA educators for a salary increase.
The course, Building Educational Leaders and Strong School Communities, will focus on such issues as standards alignment, curriculum planning, motivational and evaluation strategies, diversity training and awareness, and other timely topics. The 45-hour course is available for LAUSD educators of all subjects and grade levels at a cost of only $149. Teachers who complete the course will earn 1 Salary Point.
