KDS to Offer New Online Professional Development Courses to Georgia Teachers

Georgia Department of Education Approves Courses to Confer Professional Learning Units (PLU's)

NEW YORK, June 4, 2007 — Knowledge Delivery Systems (KDS), an innovative provider of online professional development courses designed for K-12 educators, announced today that it has been approved by the Georgia Department of Education to offer twelve additional online professional learning units for its teachers. KDS now offers fourteen online courses that provide GA teachers with the ability to earn their recertification credits online.

Courses cover such pertinent topics as Setting up a Differentiated Instruction Classroom, Creating a Successful Classroom, and Developing Student Skills for High Stakes Testing. These 10-hour courses are available for Georgia educators of all subjects and grade levels at a cost of only $60. Teachers who complete a course will earn 1 PLU.
