NYC Department of Education Approves Two New Professional Development Courses for New York City Educators to Earn 'P' In-Service Credits

NEW YORK, September 19, 2007 — Knowledge Delivery Systems (KDS), an innovative provider of online professional development courses for K-12 educators, announced today that the New York City Department of Education (NYASPDP) has approved two additional courses for educators to receive P- credits towards their Master's +30.

These newly approved courses are Literacy in U.S. Secondary Schools and Anger Management & Effective Discipline to Prevent Violence. KDS now offers New York City educators a total of 11 online, self-paced courses approved by the NYCDOE's After School Professional Development Program. Each course earns teachers 3 P-credits towards reaching the first and second salary differential requirements.
