KDS Offers Two New Professional Development Courses for Illinois Educators to Earn CPDUs Towards Recertification

NEW YORK, September 29, 2007 — Knowledge Delivery Systems (KDS), an innovative provider of online professional development courses for K-12 educators, announced today that they will offer two new courses for educators to receive CPDUs towards Recertification. Courses are also approved by Chicago Public Schools for Lane Credits towards salary upgrade

These newly approved courses are Improving Literacy in Secondary Schools and Anger Management & Effective Discipline to Prevent Violence. KDS offers Illinois educators a total of 11 online, self-paced courses. Each 30-hour course earns teachers 30 CPDUs. Courses are Pass/Fail and cost only $199, which includes online course materials. Video-based courses feature some of the nation's most prominent educators, including Carol Ann Tomlinson, Jay McTighe and Susan Winebrenner.
