Every educator strives for a safe and productive classroom, one that fosters effective learning. Our courses in this subject area help educators achieve this goal by exploring the relationship between anger, violence prevention, and effective discipline in schools. Educators learn how to better manage and respond not only to their own anger, but to the anger of others as well. Educators also learn how to avoid confrontations in the classroom and handle the range of emotional dynamics that occur over the course of a school day. These courses apply brain-based research to hands-on classroom management, and aim to leave educators prepared to create school and classroom environments that maintain safety.
