Founded in 2002, Knowledge Delivery Systems, Inc. (KDS) provides the education community (colleges, school districts, state boards of education) with affordable, practical and accessible online learning resources. Beginning with the K-12 market and expanding into the post-secondary field, KDS is an industry
leader in the creation and delivery of Online Professional Development/Continuing Education Programs. Our goal is to provide educators at the college, state, school district and school level with the resources and information necessary to make advances on a teacher-by-teacher and student-by-student
level.
As education moves into the digital age, KDS is moving with it, allowing educators, faculty and students the access to the online information they need in the format they want most-Web-delivered video content-bringing the classroom to your living room.

Thomas S. Gilbert
President and CEO
Thomas S. Gilbert, the founder of Knowledge Delivery Systems, has been actively involved in the online educational business for the last ten years. Among his many achievements are his development of award-winning educational software and the
creation of the KDS Classroom. Mr. Gilbert is a graduate of Princeton University, has a BA from the Woodrow Wilson School of Government and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
Mr. Gilbert has extensive knowledge and a successful background building and financing companies. Prior to founding Knowledge Delivery Systems, he was Managing Director/Venture Capitalist for Loeb Partners and Vice President of Allen & Company,
Inc. He has also acted as Manager of the Public Finance Department of Reynolds Securities, and as Vice President of the Merrill Lynch hospital financing group. His broad range of skills help him not only run a successful company, but also lead his KDS Team to adapt effectively to
the fast-paced changes in technology, and maximize the benefits of the information age for enhanced online education.
John D. Firestone
Director
John is a member of the Board of Directors of Knowledge Delivery Systems. He is a founder and Director of SECOR, a Washington based real estate holding company. He is also a Director of Allied Capital, and the National Gallery in Washington,
DC. He is a graduate of Princeton University and Wharton Business School.

Melanie Fox
National Sales Manager
Melanie transitioned into the educational products arena from the academic community itself. A teacher of English as a Second Language, Melanie specializes in Adult Literacy for recent Hispanic immigrants. In her previous position as both sales/marketing
manager and content-writer at Eduware, Inc., Melanie helped triple the size of the company's educational software product line and expand sales into the World Languages market. Melanie recently moved to NYC to join the KDS team as National Sales Manager. She holds a Master's of
Science in Computational Linguistics from Georgetown University and studied at la Universidad de Salamanca in Spain.
Evan Erdberg
Director of Sales
Evan Erdberg graduated from Franklin & Marshall College with a degree in international marketing and management. His extensive work experience began in London, UK where he was employed by the British Library as part of a marketing team working
on strategies for effectively introducing a British software product into the American marketplace. He later worked for American Homecare (AHC), where he researched and implemented a new subsidiary company called American Care Managers (ACM) throughout the State of NJ. Evan joined
the KDS team last year, and is currently working on revitalizing our marketing and sales initiative, targeting new organizations in the K-12 and secondary education marketplace.

Puneet Karnawat
Senior Information Technology Consultant
Puneet joined KDS in 2005 as a .NET Software Developer. His hard work and extraordinary skills led him to his current position as an IT Manager, in only about an year. Puneet, currently manages the information technology department in accordance
with organizational policies and goals. He has also implemented certain information systems which in turn has helped business operations by improving efficiency.
Gordon Chen
Web Programmer and Developer
Gordon graduated in May 2001 from New York University with a major in computer science. He worked at several companies as Internet application and database developer in the past six years. In his free time he enjoys reading computer books and
playing tennis. Gordon recently joined the KDS team in April 2006.

Viet Phan
Senior Web & Media Developer/Video Editor
Viet Phan, a Boston native, attended Boston College and graduated with a degree in Computer Science and Film Studies. His experience working on various documentaries and independent films make him an integral part of the KDS team. Viet's passion
for post-production and film editing make him an ideal fit at KDS, as he works to improve our web design and video-lecture quality.
Rivka Einy
Senior Media Consultant/Video Editor
Rivka edits our online video content and helps to maintain the functionality of the media in the classroom. She has a strong background in media and independent film-making, having worked on the production and post production of several
documentaries and independent media projects over the past 5 years.

Diana Smith
Operations Manager
Diana graduated in May 2003 from UC Berkeley with a double major in Political Science and English. She worked at a prominent law firm in San Francisco for nearly 3 years, beginning as a file clerk but promoted to Firm Administrator after only
six months. Diana relocated to New York City in October of 2005 and soon joined the KDS team as Operations Manager. Diana works directly under the CEO assisting with business aspects of KDS. She is also responsible for general administration work as well as customer service and support.
Joan Batey
KDS Course Administrator
Joan has been in the education field for the past 18 years. She graduated from Notre Dame De Namur University with a major in Liberal Studies and a minor in Behavioral Science. She has had a variety of experience such as teaching preschool, running after-school
tutoring programs, and teaching middle school and elementary school students. After earning a Master's degree in Curriculum and Technology from the University of Phoenix Online, she spent two years as the computer lab coordinator at an elementary school. Joan joined the KDS team in
December of 2005 as an Educational Consultant and soon began Administering the P-Credit courses and working as weekend Technical Support.

David Reynolds
Senior Course Developer
David is an experienced historian and professor with a B.A. and M.A. in History from SUNY Buffalo and a Ph.D in History from the University of Wisconsin. He was a distinguished professor of History at Marist College from 1986-1992 and has worked
as a educational consultant for New School Vision and Continuous Learning Corporation. He currently works for KDS as a course developer and educational consultant and is working with the state of Florida to optimize their education
system and resources.
Lawrence F. Roberge
Senior Course Developer
Recipient of the Celebrated Teacher and Innovation in Teaching Learning and Technology awards, Lawrence F. Roberge currently works as a senior course developer for KDS. He received his Masters of Science in Biomedical Science from the University
of Massachusetts Medical School, acted as the Science Dept. Chair for Goodwin College and taught online courses at various institutions including Lesley University, Becker College, ITT Technical Institute and Yorktown University. Lawrence continues to contribute to the education
community through his teaching and instructional positions, including the one he holds at KDS.
Mona Ciarletta
Course Development Consultant
Mona Ciarletta worked with Dr. Rita Dunn at St. John's University where she earned her doctorate in Instructional Leadership. Mona has utilized her background in learning styles with children as well as adults throughout her extensive career
with the New York City public schools since 1970. She has been a classroom teacher, dance specialist. school based management facilitator, staff developer, new teacher mentor, and is a founding member of the UFT NYC Dance Educators Committee. Mona stays active and current with all
initiatives by remaining with the New York City school system as a per diem instructor.
