What does KDS offer for Mississippi teacher professional development?

We offer courses that earn Continuing Education Units (CEU's) that can apply toward the 10 CEU state requirement.

For Administrators, KDS now offers courses that can apply SEMI credit toward your seventy (70) credits in five (5) years requirement. Each fourteen (14) hour course earns Standard Career-Level Licensed Administrators ten (10) SEMI Credits.

What is the approval status of the courses?

• KDS offers CEUs approved through Mississippi College
• Ask your district for prior approval to use courses for in-service credits or salary advancement.
